I've stayed exclusively with Hilton for the last 10 years. Judging from my and many other reviews/experiences of this place whoever is in housekeeping and management should no longer work here. Just makes me sad to think of how many other guests they've run the same game on and gotten away with it. So I guess we're stuck with a $1300 bill for something we didn't do, because there's really no way to fight it without proof, right? Lesson learned. We explained that the headboard was like that when we got the room, but could not provide proof as for some reason my husband's phone did not save the picture he'd taken. When we called to inquire about the charge, we were told that one of our rooms (409) had a broken headboard. As we were on our way home my husband notices a charge on his credit card for $1,300. My biggest problem lies with their shady business practices. a liner for the ice bucket, hand soap in the bathroom, sheets and covers for the pull-out sofa). Our rooms were spacious and our stay was comfortable, although I had to go downstairs to the front desk several times for items that should have been in our room (i.e. The hotel seemed pretty clean and stylish. We paid for two rooms for an overnight stay.
